ObjectDock 1.11 released

Stardock has released ObjectDock v1.11. ObjectDock is a program that enables users to add a "dock" to their Windows desktop that contains short-cuts, running tasks, and "docklets". It is highly configurable, easy to use, and very useful. You can learn more about it here.
New in version 1.11 includes:
- New included Search docklet that can search Google, MSN, Yahoo, or elsewhere.
- Improved system tray support in Plus version.
- New languages supported
- Fixes to the per tray icon feature and sysstats integration
- Better Unicode support
- New "/settingsfolder" switch
- Separators supported in tabbed docks
- Zooming icons in tabbed docks

ObjectDock is freeware. A plus version is also available that adds tabs, system tray support, task grouping, and hotspot support. Its home page is www.objectdock.com.

Bout time we got some zooming in the tabbed docks. Now only if we could get Genie...

Very nice. Glad to see a few of the old bugs solved. However I have found a few more bugs:
- I now have two Object Dock Plus icons in my system tray...
- I have my tabbed dock set vertically on the left edge of the screen and the web search docklet opens the search dialog half off-screen.

I think OD is the best docking program, and I use it as my primary dock. That said, here's my one and only beef with ObjectDock over the other docking programs...
Y'zDock, MobyDock, and the real Dock in OS X all have one thing in common that ObjectDock doesn't have: when you move your mouse off of the dock or any of its icons, it animates back to its original state. ObjectDock seems to just jump back to its original state with no "reverse animation" at all. I don't know if I'm the only one to notice this, but hopefully it's something that is relatively easy to fix. Also, the "jump" back to its original state also causes the bottom part of my screen to flicker once (when it jumps.) I don't think this would happen if the dock animated itself back to normal.
Other than that, fantastic program. I hope to see this issue resolved.

Same happens for me, on how Object Dock jumps back instead of animating. I also swear the speed changes in the options don't do a darn thing. I also swear that when I tried free version it did animate back smoothing instead of jumping. When I bought the Plus version I was fustrated trying to adjust the options to get it to do it again and gave up.
When I get a chance I'm going to install the free version on my laptop and see if it did animate or not.
Also, when will they give an option for a tabbed dock to always be on the bottom, that way it doesn't minimize when you hit the show desktop button. As of now you have to set it to always on top to prevent that, which is annoying if you don't need it. The zoom dock has this, so why not the tabbed dock?

objectdock would be a great and highly convenient program if it did not disable nortons internet security and antivirus when installed. after setting it up and enjoying the features immensely, i did a reboot and discovered nortons was disabled and could not be activated again until objectdock was uninstalled. if anyone knows of a solution, please post it on the site to benifit others experiencing similar problems, ta.
