How to create a new theme?

Thursday, February 24, 2005 by Requiem OCC | Discussion: Theme Concepts

I'm a little confused on how to create a new theme. I tried with SkinStudio but I didn't understan how to do it. Then I tried to look up a tutorial by Aleksandyr but it didn't answer my questions for creating a theme, just for a Windowblinds Skin. I already have the picture I want to use and a location selected for 7 buttons. All I need to know is how to make it into a theme, where I can put in my own buttons and run it as a theme. Help please.

Are you talking about a Desktp X theme? You want to set your background & maybe some objects and keep it as a theme?

If you haven't figured it out yet, here is what you do. Open desktopx, and from there you can open the object navigator which should open up to a list of choices, one of those choices should be "new theme" From there you will be given a screen that you can fill with whatever ideas, buttons, icons pictures and widgets you see fit to place there. Remember to save your work often, Have fun
