Image File Icons

All Image Files are same type

Sunday, February 13, 2005 by alguy | Discussion: IconPackager

I have been running into something for a long time, and I guess it is just now getting to me enough to ask about it, I use all the software and love it all, it runs like a top on my new system, AMD 64 3500, 4Gig RAM, 3 400Gig HDs, ATI X800 Video Card, Dual Layer DVD Burner and WinXP Service Pack Two.. The only remaining problem that bugs the hell out of me, and it may be a MS problem, my system treats all still image files as the same file type. If I set the file icons to differant icons the system just uses the last one set for all the image files, PNG, BMP, JPG, PCX and GIF. Has anybody else had this problem?

One other thing, has anyone noticed that if you change the icon url:HyperText Transfer Protocol to a new icon and you are using Firefox that Firefox no longer thinks it is the default browser? Seems kind of tight to check the icon source to tell if a program is the default...
