Lyrics Widget!!!

I don't know about you guys but I listen to some music over and over again but I can never catch all the lyrics. My idea for this "Lyrics Widget" is as follows:

1. transparent window that allows manual resize
2. user can copy and paste the lyrics into the Widget window
3. the lyrics will automatically scroll down until the end
4. user can set the speed for scrolling (because it varies between the songs e.g. rap & alternatives)
5. ability to save each lyrics with the user settings (speed, etc...)

I would love to have a widget that can do this, but all I got is an idea, let me know what do you think

I'm over a year late, and I doubt this thread is being watched anymore but this is a good idea. There are some songs that I listen to that I just can't quite hear what they're saying. You'd have to get reliable lyrics from somewhere, as I don't think there is any way to get them from the song itself. Unless of course you listen to it over and over until you figure it out and then type them in your self. Is that what you meant? The user puts in the lyrics for themselves? This, I think, is feasable.

I think it would have to come with a small DX Player, you know, just for the purpose of getting lyrics.
You can save the user settings to a text file which can later be recalled at any time. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to have the ability to save the lyrics to each song seprarately in individual text files. Then save the user settings, such as speed, to a configuration file (a fancy text file).

It's the only one I've come across and it needs iTunes to use it.

Well, there you go! You could import that and see if it can be tweaked so you can personally use it without iTunes. However, seeing as how _Martin_ is extremely advanced in scripting I doubt I'd be able to understand the nuts and bolts of the widget.
