A common "blue screen" error i gues...

Using any bootskin cause computer to show "memory dump blue screen" error!!!

Wednesday, February 9, 2005 by az0000000 | Discussion: Beginners

I am on Pentium 4, 256 RAM, Acer laptop with Windows XP SP1 on it.
I tried to change botskins via bottskin changer program from this website.
After choosing some bootskin I restarted computer and after loading the skin computer hanged a bit than showed the famous "memory dump blue screen" for a second and restarted. After restart story happened again. I could go endless like that so after getting pissed off I had to boot in Safe Mode to disable the sheety bootskin changer...
I would really appreciate some help on that. I just don't want to think that the program sucks.
I assume there were posts about that before so I would say thank you for a link.
Thanks.

Read the bottom block on this site: https://www.stardock.com/products/bootskin/

It's a known problem, you can try different versions and see if it helps.
