Task Bar not working right!

Tuesday, February 8, 2005 by red minion | Discussion: Stardock Support General

I installed numerous applications from wincustomize.com, and found them all to be working very well with NO bugs. But after i installed and ran DesktopX (atleast i think it was after i installed DesktopX) i noticed a problem. When i maximize any window, it takes up the entire screen, and covers the task bar at the bottom. I unninstalled DesktopX and the problem never left, please help.

DesktopX v2.4
OS WindowsXP H.E.
CPU 3.4GHz
Mem 1GB
Vcrd 256Mb 9800x series, ATI Radeon

I just noticed, (not sure if this helps) but when someone comes online on my MSN Messenger, the pop up in the bottom right appears at the very bottom of the screen (covering a small portion of the task bar, like where the clock is).

Please Help

Right click the taskbar, and select Properties. Check the option "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows". That should fix it.
