Precise measurements

... of individual GUI elements?

Sunday, February 6, 2005 by pohnjaul | Discussion: Beginners

Greetings everyone!

I'm wanting to create my own XP skin, and I pretty much understand how to use SkinStudio, however, what I am having problem with is trying to find a precise description/explanation of what the minimum height/width specs are for each individual element of a Windows GUI (i.e. buttons, frames, scrollbars, etc., etc.).

Does anyone know of a resource that defines the specs for creating GUI elements, or has a list of measurements/specs?

Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This is the site I got a tutorial from a couple years ago. It was a LOT of help. He describes sizes for each object created.
