quinnby222,

You need to use a program like "IconDeveloper" (part of the ObjectDesktop Suite), or "IconWorkshop" by Axialis software to open a Icon Library (.icl file).

There are other programs, these are just the ones I use. There may even be some free ones for you to try which would allow you to create your PNG files from an icon package for dock icons.

You might give download.com a try.

If the .icl file type is already associated with one of these programs, you can just double click the .icl icon and it will open up in the program. Otherwise, you can just run the program and use the File>Open function to navigate to and open the file.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot, I had already tried it with IconDeveloper (trial version) and the limits make it impossible, but I didn't think to look for other out there. Will give those a try.

Thanks again

You can use a utility comes with Icon Packager Called "Icon Explorer" Run the prog, point .icl, choose the icon (s) you want to extract and save them.

Hope this will work.
