SysMetrix help

PNG files

Saturday, February 5, 2005 by Driftpaws | Discussion: OS Customization

When I use .PNG files for my Sysmetrix graphics, they show up liiiitttel teeney thing I can hardly see. Any smaller and I wouldnt even be able to be sure they were my graphics. I read where they needed to be saved as webbased (although PSP doesnt seem to allow me this option) or they would cut off the sides.. but I cant find any advise about them being so small.

I figured out the problem was with the resolution of my graphics. if I set the pixel per inch higher when making my graphics in PsP the image showed smaller in sysmetrix, if I made it fewer pixels per inch, the graphic showed too large.. since Ive never read anything about this, Im not sur eif its a fluke that I alone am having, or if its common but .png jsut inst use denough for too many to have noticed...

I get the opposite problem... my PNG images are too big It's really annoying... I tried resizing in SysMetrix but then it cuts off the edges...

Okay I busted it... it's the resolution of graphics... need to be at 96.00 in PSP... I'm a happy bunny oops forgot to mention that it's Pixels/Inch....

Thanx Driftpaws... your comment helped me to figure it out
