Runtime
Sunday, January 30, 2005 by 47songs | Discussion: DesktopX
The file is: Program: ...amFiles\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\DesktopX\IconXStart.exe
The error reads:
Runtime Error!
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it im an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.
I've got all the lasted OD components upgraded through Stardock.
Any ideas?

IconX was initially integrated into DesktopX and was therefore installed into the same folder (as in our case). However, nowadays Iconx is a standalone application and should be installed in its own folder (ObjectDesktop\IconX). It seems to me that you have some sort of conflict between the old version of IconX and the new one?
Maybe you shoud try and uninstall both DesktopX and IconX and then go and reinstall the newest versions again through StardockCentral. You could (just for the sake of it) also try and rename IconXStart.exe to IconXStart.bak. Then restart DesktopX and see what happens... just a guess though.
