Shrinking Fireworks PNG files without losing Quality

Yes, I would like to know if anybody uses Fireworks and knows how to shrink the output file size? It seems like a 3kb graphic ends up being 41kb and for a skin, that seems to add up.

Note that Fireworks use the PNG format to save its own layered original file format. So if you do just a "save", the resulting file will still have all the layers. You need to select PNG32 in the optimize tab then choose "export", and "images only".
