Trouble with Logon Studio

Downloads not listing in Login Studio

Hello there!

I am new to this customization thing and am very interested in getting up to speed on how things work.

What I thought was straight forward is proving to be a bit of a challenge. Problem is this...

I download new login skins from WinCustomize and then extract them. The when I load Login Studio and try and use that file or files I downloaded they are not in logonui.exe format and I am not sure what to do.

Could someone please help explain to me what I am thinking is probalbly a very simple solution to what to do with the downloaded skins I am getting to use them?

The files you download you be xxxxxxxx.logonxp files. You didn't mention what format the files where in when you dl'd them. Are they .zip files? If so, just change the extension to .logonxp and they should auto install upon double-click.

jeez...I can't edit my spelling errors out...sorry. "The files you download should be..."
