Weather Widget

Tuesday, January 18, 2005 by magnus2679 | Discussion: Docks

Hey guys,

I am just wondering how exactly I install a weather widget that I just downloaded...the .zip file contains a .dxpack file. Do I need another application to install that? Or do I simply extract it into my WindowsBlinds directory...any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need DesktopX https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/downloads.asp to run *.dxpack files, which are Ojbects or *.exe files, which are widgets.

Any file that is either a dxpack or a dxtheme needs DesktopX installed https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/.

After installation you can double-click on the dxpack to install it.
