Posted wallpaper never shows up?

Over a week ago I posted a wallpaper I had done but it never showed up. If I go to "My skins" in the drop down list there is (1) next to Wallpapers, but I cannot view and if I browse the wallpaper section it is not there. In addition I resubmitted yesterday and that one doesn't show up at all. I was just wondering what might ahve happened to it. If one is rejected on review is there any reason sent to the submitter? Does one have to be a paying subscriber to submit?

if a skin is rejected the admins do not E mail the skinner....the admins got tired of nasty responses....any one can submit a skin...of all the librarys .. wallpapers are the hardest to get in to... they are ususlly very picky about what gos up....

Buying a subscription to WC is just one of the many available ways to help support this community and keep it growing. Has nothing at all to do with whether a submission gets approved or not. Another popular way to support the community is to do as you have and submit works here for everyone to use. Keep working at. Also try to get in contact with others that are submitting works in your particular field, in this case walls. Most will be willing to help out. This is especially helpful if you are new to it.

I would sure like to know the criteria by which it was "moerated." Without constructive criticism improvement is a blind and random effort.

Click the "about site" link, at the left ...and read it all, ~you'll get a general idea. But determination and a good eye for detail in your work are key factors.
Also, when you think your wallpaper is finished ...don't submit it immediately. Leave it a day or two, then go back and look at it with "fresh eyes" ...do you still feel it's worthy of submitting?
...if the answer is "yes" then go ahead and submit it for moderation. Just be prepared for rejection, and take that to mean you have to try a little harder next time.
