Problem with loading new files into LogonStudio

Wednesday, January 12, 2005 by v331311 | Discussion: Stardock Support General

When I try to load a new logon into LogonStudio, that logon name appears at the top where it says "current logon: xxxxxxxx".
However, the logon doesn't appear in the list below, and thus I can't load it.

So when I double click on a logon file, LogonStudio opens and says that the current logon is the one that I just clicked, but does not appear in the entire list of available logons.

Any advice/tips?

Have you made sure that the Logons installed properly? Go and check your LogonStudio folder. It should contain a separate folder for each logon you downloaded and installed. If it isn't there try to reinstall the logon.

For logons that download as a .logonXP just double-click on them. For logons that download as .zip unzip and click on the .logonXP file within this unzipped folder. For logons that downloaded as a zip but do not contain a .logonXP file (but rather a heap of other files), either move the whole folder in your LogonXP folder, or rename the extension from the original zip to logonXP
