Multi-Monitor Support?

Saturday, January 8, 2005 by Cadvridoc76 | Discussion: DesktopX

Hi, I've done a quick search and can't see that this has been asked at all. But does DesktopX have multi-monitor support? I've used DesktopX for a couple of years now and have no end of trouble with it using two monitors, subsequently i've stopped using it. The biggest problem is that while there doesn't seem to be a problem getting things on both screens they seem to move off the screen, and if you play a game that uses a different resolution on the main monitor than normal it totally messes things up, and you have to reload it all the time. I haven't used the last couple of versions as the problems i had were just too annoying. so this may be rectified now, but i don't feel like spending hours setting a desktop the way i want it then not be able to use it as the same problems are occuring. basically is there an option like in ObjectDock where you can specify a monitor that you want a object etc to be placed? thanks Ryan ps sorry if this is a repost, just direct me to the post and delete this one. thanks

Wow, and I just posted about OD+. Excuse me. You should be able to lock down the coordinates of the object to the other monitor, but I'm not sure about when playing games and such, because that would change the overall resolution.
