Making Objects Stick

In Desktop X, is it possible to make widgets and objects so they cannot be moved? I've switched between Author and Standard mode, but they can still be moved.

I am not sure about the widgets (I don't really use them) but desktopX objects can be locked if you right-click on the object's background (layer) > properties > relation > and choose 'locked' from the dropdown-menu next to 'movement'. 'Normal' means the object can be moved, 'default' depends on your default DesktopX settings.
