"Migration to another ERP solution, including Microsoft Business Solutions, SAP and other partner ERP solutions on the Microsoft platform, are additional options available to PeopleSoft customers seeking greater clarity around technology direction and platform alignment," Veghte said. Interesting. I wonder how this will effect cunsomer relationship management and knowledge base systems? Will SAP and Oracle/Peoplesoft become a big showdown or will Microsoft come from behind and beat out Oracle and battle SAP while Oracle tries to swollow Peoplesoft?

Interesting. I shall be looking at the new version of Navision in the new year, along with any other contenders. At the moment we are running 20yr old programs on an ageing A/S400. I really want to see the back of that asap.

This could turn into an ugly battle just like it was when Oracle was going after people soft. They've been trying to buy them for a long time. I think the last bid I saw was $25 and PS said that wasn't enough.
