ObjectDock Issue - Icons hidden behind dock upon reboot

I am running the free version of ObjectDock that came with Object Desktop which I purchased. While running OD, I have the dock set to remain on top all of the time. For some reason when I reboot, the dock loads with the icons hidden behind it. If I drag my mouse over it they reappear partially, enough for me to open the settings panel.
If I reset the settings to "normal window z-order" the icons return to the top of the bar. However, since I want the dock to remain on top of all other windows, I reset back to "always on-top". The icons stay on top while Object Dock is running, but upon reboot they're hidden again.
Any idea how to correct this annoying, albeit not critical, problem? TIA!

Sorry I wasn't very clear on that point. These would be the icons actually on the dock, not my desktop.

Hah! Just realized how silly my post must have seemed from the subject line... 
but this does bring up another question:
I used ObjectDock, along with WindowBlinds 4.4 and DesktopX/IconX to make a really clean desktop... I hate clutter. Only one little thing still bugging me though: Is there a way for me to hide my recycle bin on my desktop?
This isn't as annoying as the first issue, but I am on a quest for for the perfect desktop! That's what this is all about right?

Thanks yrag. Seem to remember that TweakUI had that setting, which I currently have installed. I haven't messed around with it in some while. But I ran it just now and for some reason, I couldn't find where you could hide the recycle bin. There are several options to hide various desktop icons, but the recycle bin is not one of them. I think the version I am currently running is a little out of date (maybe 1.33), but see the current version is 2.1? Might this be the problem or something else?

All, did some research found another way to hide the recycle bin from your desktop. Run gpedit.msc and do the following:
1. Click Start, click Run, type GPEDIT.MSC in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. Under User Configuration, click Administrative Templates, and then double-click Desktop.
3. Double-click Remove Recycle Bin icon from the desktop.
4. Click the Setting tab, click "Enabled", and then click OK.
5. Reboot
Recycle Bin should not be there anymore, but can be restored if you do the reverse. I adapted these instructions from Microsoft's Knowledge Base Article 810869:

I wasn't certain that it would be restored if I reversed what I had done in GPEDIT, so I tested it to be sure before posting this. The recycle bin was restored after resetting back to "Not Configured" and rebooting.
I realized that you're supposed to do this even more easily with TweakUI, but for some reason the option to hide or show the recycle bin doesn't appear amongst the settings... time for more research...
Note: this will only work on XP Pro! XP Home Edition does not support Group Policies, per Microsoft's web site. That said, I hope this helps some of y'all...

It sounds to me like you are speaking of desktop icons hiding behind the dock. If this is the problem, then you can right click the desktop, and choose "arrange icons by", and make sure there is no check in "auto arrange" or "align to grid". This way your desktop icons will stay where you put them. Unless of course you are using DesktopX. Then, it is the same in the DesktopX or IconX options.
