i know what ur saying! I think i might have even posted something. The lib was down for me, but then sometimes i would log out, log back in, or refresh and it would work, but most of the time today, it's said it was down.

Language, Please! You probably are not a subscriber, and therefore on on a public server

It appears to be IP based. From here at work I get the same error, Library down for maintenance. But if I proxy myself thru a proxy like the-cloak.com it works no problem. May be something for the admins to look into.

You're on a different server than the subscribers. when you purchase a subscription you are transferred to a seperate server. Basicly you get the quality you pay for.
and it's working fine for me.

damn it...i just want the 1 windows blind i saw a wile back. some 1 made a wallpaper into a blind. and it was cool and every time i try to find it..it always locks up

It amazes me how many people complain about the library being down. There have been a lot of message threads about this one item. Maybe an admin needs to make a dreaded sticky and explain to people that when they are freebies they don't get the same benefits as the subscribers (I'm still a freebie at the moment and I just live with the fact that the library is down).
It might save the moderators some time not having to constantly respond to the same problem over and over again on the different threads. Then again, I guess a lot of people don't bother reading the existing message threads before starting their own.

By the way, how do you get the Quote to work? I've tried highlighting the text and hitting the Q button, but then nothing else happens.

That's all it is.....unless you're running an 'odd' browser...

I'm still using an older build of Mozilla - I dislike IE and avoid it if I can. I like the tabbed browsing of Mozilla and MyIE2 doesn't always work right.

Basically when we need to do internal transfers of data, we shut down the non-subscriber library to free up bandwidth to move things. It's not very often though.
