Should I use NTFS?

I recently bought an 80G drive and one of the things I'm considering is switching to NTFS (which'll be obsolete in about 2 or 3 years when WinFS hits the market). Should I use NTFS or Just stick with Fat32? THanks all!

I did a little reading on IDE cables. I now know the difference between 40 and 80 wire cables. I DON'T know what I had hooked up when I encountered the problems. Anyway, I made a backup image, shut down, hooked up an 80-wire cable, rebooted, ran the convert command, and............ and............
IT WORKED!!! Yay!!
I'm not sure, but it seems a little on the slow side now. I will run some games and things to check it out. Later.

I thought that might have been the problem. I was hoping you didn't have file damage in the MBR from the confusion of converting back and forth from Fat32->NTFS and back again. Obviously you don't because it WORKED!
I've learned a lot about drives. New drives are all backwards compatible. That is why it worked with fat32 and the 40pin cable.
You may want to check in your bios to make sure the bios has correctly identify the drive and transfer rates. That might tend to slow the drive down if the settings are not correct.
