Win XP SP2 Incompatibilities

After installing Windows XP SP2 WindowBlinds stopped working completley.It dissapeared out of my properties so I uninstalled WindowBlinds ,then put it back in but that did not do any good, not only that but my wife has her user account so I tryed to open it up and my computer locked up to where I had to shut it down just to get it going again. Needless to say I uninstalled SP2 shortly after that and probably wont try it again untill they get the bugs fixed. Me 2 although it's more like 6 seconds than a split second. I was wondering whether there's any solution to that?
