boot screen - shutdown/hibernate screen skinnable?

Hello,
is there a way to skin the shutdown and hibernate screens? It is irritating to see such a nice bootscreen on startup, but when I shutdown the computer, I still get the normal windows shutdown screen.

I'm not sure about the hibernate screen, but the shutdown screen will be skinned
with any logon you apply with LogonStudio.

Thats strange. Bootscreens are skinned with the BootSkin Tool but the Shutdown Dialog is skinned with LogonStudio?

Not really, the Logon, Logoff and Shutdown are all the same screen, except that in Shutdown it doesn't display the users logon bit.

Just an after thought, if you are a standalone PC user at home, you may not have the Logon screen enabled so would go straight from the Bootscreen to your desktop without going through the Logon screen.

Under the hood, a "boot" screen is ntoskrnl.exe, while a logon/off/hibernate screen is logonui.exe. Therefore you need different apps to "skin" 'em.

Okay, that makes sense then.
I just thought logon screen was different, because my logon screen uses 1024x768x24bpp while the bootscreen and the shutdown/hibernate screens all use the basic vga (?) 256 (?) color resolutions.
