I am going on an investigation to find "Doodle Bug."
I know this search might take me to the far ends of the earth, but I will find him. First I must interogate anyone here at wincustomize for any knowledge you may have.
Here are the interogation questions I will need answered by anyone who has came across "Doodle Bug" or any of his work. Please aid me in any way possible by answering as many if not all of the questions below. I am sure by me posting threads on this and other sites I shall gather enough resources to track down "Doodle Bug."
1. When was the last time that you have had contact online or seen comments posted by "Doodle Bug?"
2. What links can you provide that will directly link me to any of his work?
3. Do you know of his real name or any other screen names that he went by?
4. Do you know of any e-mail addresses that he used?
5. Is there any websites or software that could aid in trying to locate someone by there screen name?
6. Is it possible to find a persons information by possibly going thru site owners, admins, ect.?
I will list more questions as my case unfolds! Anyone holding back valuable information could be found guilty of 'Depressing a whole lot of damn people who want to use his themes!'

And ofcourse I will call him. If you give me confirmation that that is his real name then I will track him down and bring him back once and for all to give us all permission for the release notes. You getting all this HG-Eliminator. If I track him down. I hope you hold true to release his theme!

If you would have visited the link I gave previously where you can download his LS theme, you would have seen the link to his profile on Customize.org. From there, you would have found his name and where he is from. No Sherlock work, really.
But, because I am Canadian, I know the Canadian white page web site.
I don't know you, so I have ne idea what type of person you are. But if you decide to call him, remain polite and respectful please. Crossing the bridge between the virtual and the reality is not always welcome. Not sure how I would react if a fan called me home. Kinda freaky actually. I suggest you write him a letter by mail instead.

Also being from the vast country of Canada, I don't know the man either All kidding aside, I have a screen shot up called green turtle(doodle's wall and sonique skin)and The Skin Factory(Jesh) responded and said doodle was still in Canada at college.......just thought you might want to know

And speaking of HG_Eliminator, If your out there please comment on this thread, I want to be sure I dont loose you now. The trick is going to be getting doodle bug in touch with you for the permission.
Question. When I do locate Doodle Bug, How should I approach him. Also, how exacty would be the best way to verify permission. I was thinking get Doodle Bug to contact HG_Eliminator. But I dont know what he thinks about this, so I need some more time before I move on the information.

csurfside.....that would be my advice as well.
Years ago, when he was active in the skinning world he naturally knew many of us by 'nick', but circumstances change....real life [tm] moves on and an 'approach' from out of his past may not necessarily be welcome.
Also, Doodle still retains full responsibility/control of where 'Turtle' [and any of his other works] ends up and that decision is final.
Considering the time gap, etc.....any subsequent success re permission would need be verifiable from the source....

Canada411 is usually up to date. So, I am pretty confident he is at those coordinates. As I said. Send him a letter, it's less intrusive. You can ask him to contact you or HG_E by email. This way, it doesn't put pressure on him. If he doesn't want to reply, he won't. By phone, that kind of places him in a situation where he is forced to interact with you even if he doesn't want to. Please respect his right to privacy.
