I am looking for "Ursula 2K" as I would like permission to release a Nonstep Logon XP Theme.
I go this email from customize.org, [email protected] but it returned with a nolonger-in-use error. If anyone knows how I can contact him please email me at: [email protected]
If noone contacts me within a week I will be uploading the themes here. Thanks for any help

The unfortunate problem of being unable to contact the author is no excuse for not having the required permission. Without written permission (verifiable) included, you'll be wasting your time uploading here.

.. I know many people who, just because they asked and didn't get a response, assume a "no answer" means it's ok. It's not ok..lol.. Just keep waiting. What if I found some of your work, emailed you but didn't get a "timely" response so I assumed it was "ok" just to upload your work anyhow? [even if I do modify it] 
Just think of how it would affect you when wondering about permissions, or the idea that someone ELSE could be gaining something at your expense.

Thanks, it seems I was to rash in saying I will upload it anyway. I am still trying to find an email address to contact him by.
Am I correct though for getting permission although the only thing I am using from him would be the name and a similar look? All the files/graphics are built from scratch by me.

You could just name it something else, and say that it was inspired by Ursula 2k's work.

If you don't get permission first, don't 'upload' it/them here....they will be rejected.
Prior permission is a prerequisite for approval....
