September 2026 Desktop Screenshots

Weather's a bit better...but promises to become hot and sticky again.
My September's desktop is Galaxus 7 both WB and Winstep. Wallpaper is one from the web which I altered a bit.
Very much looking forward to JuniorCrooks's new app as well as c242's. Some new blood and energy for skinning!
Hope you all are enthusiastic, as well! I'm also happy about Winstep's plans for the long awaited skinning module and the release of Winstep 26.8!

Not sure I am following you.
I meant a way to connect widgets on a dock-like structure.
That's possible; I am assuming you mean like XWidget did. with a pop-up widget dock that launched when you clicked on the tray icon.

Never tried XWidget, but that sounds right.

I had that in an earlier build but did away with it because I thought it was redundant when there was already a gallery, but I certainly will consider that when I get all thw widgets built.

That’s an interesting wallpaper—a steam locomotive! Where can I download it?

It's not available for download because I designed it for the steampunk theme, but here it is

WB is Sumethin Different by Icebabee, EmilyDesk (Steampunk dimmed in Ps) by JuniorCrooks, WSX Ruhrgebiet by Picco14, wallpaper Cindergrid Deck by c242. Fences 6 text modified to match.
JuniorCrooks...the ability to modify color and light/shade of the dock would be cool.

EmilyDesk Industrial Theme. The bottom widget dock is activated by the system tray icon, not always visible.

Thanks, Doc. I am still building the optional widgets, and when I get everything together, I will let you have the polished version.
