Windows 10 Support Has Ended
Opinions about Opatch for Security Updates
Friday, November 14, 2025 by The-Reaper-Man | Discussion: Windows Discussion
Hello guys, and ladies, of course. I'm just posting to get some of your opinions about what to do next. I really love Windows 10 and don't want to give up using it. However, MS has just ended their support of it, and before my computer becomes too much of a mess, from lack of security updates, I wanted to know what you think of Opatch? Namely, is it safe to deal with these guys? As in giving them my credit card details and not have to worry about being scammed or that they will give those details to third party users and that their updates work reliably. I'm not going to get the 2 year extended updates from Microsoft, only for the updates to run out again in another year and have to go through all this again. My machine is not compatible for Windows 11, I have too much customization built into it to have to transfer everything to a new computer. Look forward to hearing from our expert community! Thanks.

I've been with 0patch for several years [maybe about 5...will have to check]... safe as houses. I started with the free ver and realized what was happening and quickly changed to full...no dramas at all.
This is why I am safely still on Windows 7 ....162 patches were applied 33 million 511 thousand and 751 times.
I will simply use the same on my Win 10 installs as well as needed.

Thanks for the info, guys! I will probably go for the full version as well. I'm feeling slightly exposed right now, with all the threats floating around the web. Appreciate your replies! See you in the forums!

If you like you can peruse the forums for what's been said:

Other than that all I can really say is I've had the pro version installed on W10 for about a month and had no problems. I will warn you that they bill in Euros, if your account isn't a Euro account it'll get converted and a conversion fee will be added or charged separately.
