Plumbob Cursor
Tuesday, July 1, 2025 by Digicoma | Discussion: CursorFX
Hello,
There was once a cursor that was represented on WinCustomize. I can't remember the name, but I know it is no-longer listed there. I'm not entirely sure, but it's possible that it was once offered by Stardock within CursorFX.
Anyhow, it one one of my absolute favorites, and if I had known it was going to dissappear, I would have exported it to another drive for safe keeping.
The cursor is green and it turns, It looks like the Plumbob in a particular software title from Maxis. I didn't know the thing was actually called "Plumbob", but that's what it is called.
It looks like this:
Would there be any possible way for someone to get that file to me so that I could have it again. I would be MUCH appricitive.

The most likely reason it's not available anymore, is that the design is owned by Electronic Arts. The cursor is from the game Sims.

It's just sad that I had it for so many years, and now I don't.
By any chance, does anyone remember the name of it? There is an off chance I may have downloaded it at some point but just can't find it. I could do a full search of all my drives on my PC in case I actually do have it.

Agreed. I never dl'd that one. I did a search for it using it's color/crystal/diamond...no luck. Couldn't find it on the web using the info JanOscar provided above, Digicoma.
Wish I could have helped.

If the artist removed the CursorFX skin, that would mean that for whatever reason, he does not wish it distributed anymore. Since it's their IP, it's against the rules for anyone else to distribute it. Sorry.
