There aren't supposed to be any gif screenshots................  unless something has changed that I'm not aware of. All screenshots should be jpg only.

Most of those are 3-4 years old. Upload requirements have probably changed since then

Adam!? I don't think it's nessasary to have such a big screenshots (as you may have known). People are more interested in the overall look of the skin rather than the small details of the shot. For the details, they can/will download the skin and play with it.

Quite honestly, Adam, the problem with your screenshots isn't the image format. It's the layout of your shots. They are beautiful shots, very professional in appearance for print. But, they are, on average, twice as big as they need to be. They have way too much white space, and your logo, email, etc, take's up almost as much room as the real image people want to see. Why not make your logo and contact info overlay the shot and get rid of the white space? That way you could cut the image size in half and the corresponding file size by a heck of a lot more. Just a suggestion, but I'd go that way rather than use an inferior image format.

I think Shameless is right Adam, you have too much white space. Cut back on that and you'll be pretty good for file size etc.

It would still be too big. I'm running at 1600 and I still have to scroll.

Scroll, scroll, the mouse gently down the page, merryly merryly, the screenshots are still too big.

...ah, those old time screenies. Its kind of ... thought provoking to go all the way back in time and seeing a little gif there giving its all. Flashing and scrolling away for all time...

*sigh*... if a gif moves in an archive, is there movement?

*cough*... if a gif moves in an archive, is it really an archive?

.. One of them has a time window with a little gif showing the time (not really, of course). But I dusted of the archives and wandered way back to the beginning and found it... that little clock, seeming to tick away. Kind of reminded me of Rod Sterling and the twilight zone...

...the skinning zone.

Should allow the gif format for the smaller screenshots.

yeah... I like them, though for a weird reason. It gave some life to the archives.... kind of like little skin ghosties, haunting memories of skins used, and loved, and then discarded for newer things. They were a faithful replication of the ideas and craftsmanship of peeps long gone in some cases...

Would be nice to think some of our ghosties could still tick on like that....

Yeah its better, but I still think that you should have your logo and site info overlayed on the actual screenshot. Maybe just have a white box in an empty area with all your stuff there.
