Hey Devs. I understand we're not up to full functionality yet, but I'm logged in and still getting ads in the forums.

 

Advice?

Buy some stuff ...

In theory you may see the odd banner for Stardock's stuff.

Have a go at the old trick...."have you tried turning it off and turning it on again"

Log out, clear cookies...log in...

Nah...that's just what you do when you see Ads.... cos that's the reason they exist.

Current Customers and/or Wincustomize Subscribers "shouldn't" see them, certainly not to any great degree.

If they do it's possibly cookie/site crash issue ...

Yeah, still getting major ads.

Maybe I'll but something.  I have 3 accounts here, and all of them see ads.   I only have one WC account, gotta try to find the one that is active.

I tried Basj's idea but it requires my email and I'm not sure which email it's associated with.

Hello Jim,

You could, raise support ticket and ask Support to check which of your email account linked to those. From what I know, most of us cannot get to user account to check it for you.

Off topic, if I did buy something to help fix this, I want Multiplicity 4. I have the KVM version and the KVM Pro, I think it's called.  Will those keys work for MP 4?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please raise support ticket using the link below, use the"Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.

I believe, if you purchase a new standalone MP4, you will get a new key for it.

Just to throw out there multiplicity 4 pro now controls 5 pcs where as the older Multiplicity 3 kvm only controlled one. It is a pretty good buy unless you do in fact have 9 pc's you need to control.

So, I guess I stay with Multiplicity 3, for which I have the pro key including 9 PCs.

Supply all the documentation you can.
Make note of your ticket number and don't resubmit as it will kick to the back of the queue.

Apparently I need to stay with MP3, or buy a key for MP4.

KVM is listed as a Pro function in MP4 for me.

Correct, but it is all the same as Multiplicity 3. They just have different names then before

 

Multiplicity 3 KM = Multiplicity 4 (neither had KVM and both were the OD versions)

Multiplicity 3 KVM = Multiplicity 4 pro

Multiplicity 3 KVM Pro = Multiplicity 4 business

The pricing for each hasn't changed too much for each tier.

That is KM, Jan.  Not KVM.

 

Phoenix, Yes, but I already have a key for MP3 and can't afford the new version.  So, back to 3 I go.  I need to see the other PCs screen on my primary, they are not in the same room.
