What makes you happy?

I'm home from having my gallbladder out (laparoscopic surgery). To say I'm in pain understates my position. It's mostly the nerve pain in my (right) shoulder, I guess common with the gasses they use to expand the abdomen?
Anyhow. I'm not sleeping well at all, or for long and am feeling more than little under the weather so if you guys want to share a pic, of your pets, of your workspace, of that which inspires you, I'd love to see it.
This is Finnley. ♥
Lots of love.

One thing that might be able to make the pain a little more bearable is Curcumin or Turmeric, which is a natural, herbal anti inflammatory. Also, White Willow is a natural pain reliever as well. Those two, along with a herbal muscle relaxant, are what I use for pain. This is only a suggestion, and you would do well to consult with a health professional first. These are what I use whenever I have a headache, and it does help. I hope you will feel better soon. Best wishes!
The picture above is my cat, Zuma.

Me, exactly. It's far more excruciating than the preop clinic lead me to believe. lol It's stopped me dead in my movement several times, where all I can do is stand there and have a small cry.
Max looks cute. Joe like he's flashing a bad look because he was woken suddenly. ♥
They look ready to do that chitter thing they do at birds. lol Cute.
Hadn't looked at, actually. Am now! lol Thanks. My guard cat.

You're right about the pain...most pain from the bile ducts and the gas distention is referred to the right shoulder...and can be in a half belt around the right side to the back...here's hoping you recover soon and that the pain passes quickly! Here are Max and Joe:
