Hot and muggy here...so went for the cooler colors on my desktop...hope it's cooler and drier where you are...
Aero11 (twilight substyle) by SimplexDesigns with tinted start menu background W10 style, with Dungeon font. Wallpaper adni18_0100_48. slightly modded Workshelf docks Windows7 Extreme with transparent backgrounds. Fences 5.54 also using Dungeon font.

I have another Lightstar theme to offer for my screenshot. This one is Arnada. I have added a few accoutrements to liven it up some more.

Chose a LightStar skin as well... Outpost, with Lady X's Ultimate Clean Winstep theme for the docks and modules. The wall is a composite (modified) of a StarTrek wall, and a wall from Wallpaper Flare.

There is another Scandinavian dish which is rather "pungent"...it's Swedish. Fermented Baltic herring: Surströmming.
The containers storing it should be opened outdoors (according to articles) as its...bouquet...lingers about three days. This is from reading. I've personally never had the "pleasure".

This is the desktop of my main private laptop as of today. I have pretty much given up on Windowblinds as there are too many inconsistencies for me to bare And I don't want to be forced to use a Windows 7 style startmenu 'til the end of days to fit a skin.
So I tweaked Start 11 to my liking (got rid of any dock-software as a side-effect) and keep my desktop clean. Rainmeter and some usability tools, that's it. Seen here Directory Opus and in explorer a small private project enhancing an icontheme named "Retroism". It is coming slow because of real life, but one day I will upload it also as an IconPackager theme. Permission is given already.
Startmenu in DirectoryOpus display, as I wanted the wallpaper to be visible.

This is my latest desktop setup. Another brilliant Lightstar theme, Dark Teal, mixed and matched with Chasbo's 51 Rainmeter theme and his 51 Rainlendar skin.
