Cannot Download When Signed In As A Member, But Can As A Guest

I made a free Member account on 27 June @ 7:47 p.m. but, as the title says, I cannot download using it. I get an error screen saying; You are currently at your download limit. (6 / 5). It worked initially but then stopped with this cryptic error. However, I can use my 5 free Guest DL's without issue.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I would really appreciate some help.

There is another option. You can try again with another web browser. Most people have more than one web browser on their system, IMO.

Alas, no it still doesn't work. Same error.
Why would it work for Guest and not logged in if it were a browser issue? That seems counterintuitive?

Here's another idea. Try logging out, and then logging back in again. If that doesn't work, then just wait a day. Not that big of a deal, IMO.

Waiting doesn't or hasn't solved the issue. Nor does logging in and out. In fact it has the effect of making the site useless as a Guest until I clear the chache and start again.
Also, respectfully, no - it isn't that big a deal, there are more pressing issues facing humanity but it rather negates the point of me making an accout if it isn't going to work or recoup some benefit which is, usually, the point of opening an account with a site, wouldn't you agree?
Appreciacte the suggestions though.

I understand how you feel. In my case, as a guest, I can download something 5 times in that one day. And yet, as a member, for some reason, I don't have the same problem that you do. I cannot reproduce the error or issue. I can login, and everything works, except for an occasional minor glitch, which is probably true for every website, at one time or another. Have you checked out or consulted the info on this thread?

I appreciate your response.
Nothing about this issue makes sense. Logged in I can thank an uploader for their hard work but not D/L it until I log out, clear cache, history etc. and reload the site to use the 5 free Guest D/Ls. It's bizarre.
I shall look at the link you were kind enough to provide and see if anything can be learnt from it.

I believe you you have to be a Wincustomize subscriber to have unlimited downloads.

I know that to be the case. However, with a Member (free) level account it initially said I had, I think 36 or 34 DLs. It now says I have 24 remaining (I DL some items already) but if I try to DL something it says,
Download Unsuccessful
- You are currently at your download limit. (6 / 5)
It continues to say this as outlined above. I wasn't expecting unlimited DL.
The question really is how many DL do you get with a free account and if it's in the 30s or whatever as I was led to believe, why has mine refused to work any longer. If it isn't more than 5 I wouldn't have made an account at all and just used the Guest allotment. Which, at this point, appears to be what I should've done and not had to endure this rigmarole in the first place.
Perhaps it would be best for all concerned for my data to be deleted and I won't trouble anyone further.
I appreciate your response though.
