June 2024 Desktop Screenshots

June is here...I'm sticking with Tubular by Lightstar (recolored), and Tanger Winstep ported by Giz from the WB by Lightstar.
The wall is Planet Arrakis from Frank Herbert's Dune (actually Mars), and Space Guild Heighliners transporting Duke Leo Atreides and his House to Arrakis from Planet Caladan to take over spice production from House Harkonnen.

Thanks Dr, I know the story and yes they were real heroes. Don's WB is excellent and I thank him for putting all his themes back on the site. Don is truly a master skinner...

I thought It had expired but I still have a few days left on my winstep trail. Tried the theme out but could not install it correctly as available options have changed and you can't follow the install instructions. Shame.
Agreed. I'll ask JcRabbit if he thinks it'll work.
aceuk007, I asked Winstep's owner and coder (Jorge Coelho), and he said, "No reason the theme shouldn't work."

Hope this helps. I honestly urge you to get Winstep Extreme. I absolutely love the app and there's really no end to the ways one can customize it, without any conflict with any other skinning app...you can even make your own menus!
Thanks I've got it to work. I thought there was a dock background but it was 2 folders one for context menus and the other main shelf.

Walls as well, possibly live walls, too...but not positive about that, Reaper.
edit: Nikos said he was also skinning smart watch faces, but quit about a month ago.

Here's what I'm currently showing on my desktop! Translucent V2, and the wallpaper is something I grabbed off the net, I believe it's some beach on the east coast, can't think of the name at the moment........

Hello everyone, it's been a long time...
My current desktop, theme "Tuskegee Airmen" by "Don5318" converted by myself for Winstep with Xion Player and Rainmeter skins "Gallery, Notes, Disks, Google, Woofer and iRadios web"...
Very nice work, Picco. They were true heroes. Don's WB was excellent.
