Now....let's see if I got this right....[it's been a little while since the last formal post].
Long ago, in a Galaxy far, far away [March, 2001], Wincustomize.com was created.
Slowly, evolving out of the Primordial Swamp there came Users.
With the relentless March of Time there were Promotions.
[People are promoted due to their involvement with the site and its Community, sometimes through artistic prowess, other times through Forum interaction.]
Many of this current bunch of recipients have been of great assistance in recent times with various new Product Releases which as we know can often cause issues requiring Support/assistance in resolution.
These are but the latest of them [and I bet I've missed a few as they're not necessarily contemporaneous. [there.... I used it in a sentence ....
]

So what does the J stand for?
The J stands for "Just"...in the sense of exactly or precisely, as in "just another fellow".
There are also those (myself included) who believe it is 'just' also in the sense of guided by fairness or justice.

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that there are members, some of which are mentioned on this thread, that see this ranking/promotions as a joke of sorts. Being a Master doesn't really mean much anymore, since the Master program has been retired.
I can understand their frustration.
One particular member that I communicate with daily, has been working hard to not only provide skins, but, on my advice, has also been working to have a better forum presence. I have been telling him that being helpful in the forums would enhance his chances of getting promoted. He has been trying very hard to work toward being promoted to master, only to get the promotion when it doesn't really mean much. He has voiced his frustrations to me and they are duly noted.
Why work so hard to become a Master only to find that selling skins is no longer a thing.
This person knows what I mean.

Why work so hard to become a Master only to find that selling skins is no longer a thing.
Quite possibly for the same reasons I worked so hard to become a Master...at a time when there WAS NO commercial option to sell skins on Wincustomize.com [or any other skinning site that existed at the time].
It might be nice to NOT rain on people's parades actually in the thread announcing/recognizing their contributions.
