Moderation

At the moment the reason for moderation is shining through like a super nova over at deviant art. I know curiousity might kill some cats, I'm not putting the link up but believe when I say a lot of keyboards around the world need to have vomit cleaned out.

Though I do think if people saw it they could appreciate the reasoning behind moderation, and WHY people have to earn the trust to upload automatically. They made it to journyman for a reason.

Just kidding. I played it at one time too, but not for long. those pesty littel things got on my nerves.
why haven't you changed it? you could forward the mail going to that account to a new one and just not distribute the old one anymore. I don't know if thats possible with hotmail though.

well nothing wrong with Pokemon. I myself watch the cartoon. I have never played the game, I perfer playing Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic.

I haven't changed it because it's my email, it's been mine for so long it's just a part of me basically. reason I quit playing pokemon was because I couldn't take the one's I caught from one game to the next, and got tired of "gotta catch em all, all over again" *sigh*

I gotta question and forgive me if it's one that's been answered time and time again cuz I've been lookin for the answer before asking. Is there a set period of time an icon must be displayed before updating sends it back through moderation. Sometimes when I update it goes right through and is pre approved and other times it goes back into mderation. Just curious.

-daVo- all uploads from a 'Citizen' level go through moderation....though a while ago there was a bug that enabled some to slip through without. I am guessing yours may have been some of them...

Yeah thanks for all your help again btw. This time my question was directed more towards updating files that had already been through all the proper channels and were available for download on the site. Sometimes it says "your access level has allowed for this skin to be pre-approved" when I update an icon; and sometimes it goes back to await approval. It seems like the more recent uploads more frequently go back to go through moderation wheras the older files tend to be auto approved.
That's why I was wondering if there was a time period negating this. Since I know you guys have to be busy over there and none of my updates are ever more than purely aesthetic; I could wait to update my files so you guys didn't have to approve the same files over and over.

Jafo, Im sorry it must've been temporary lack of oxygen to brain cells or something. I think the whole pre-approved thing is attached solely to the icons that had to be re-submitted after a nasty server failure.
