Well, it's August, already. Hottest month over with...hoping (against hope) August will be somehow better.
Decided to give tribute to three great Master skinners, and really good people...one of whom is here in memory only, Xiandi (Lady X), PoSmedley, and WebGizmos. They collaborated to create a beautiful skin, my desktop of the month: Xiandi the Windowblind and CursorFX, PoSmedley, the walls, and WebGizmos, the Winstep Xtreme.

Here is my XP theme I was working on when WB11 betas started dropping.
Convincing screenies, but I believed you on your say so, SD. I bet MS hard coded it in an update.
What makes it even more 'mysterious'. IF they really hardcoded something like this, why is the font white in windows' native or 'hacked' themes darkmode but then black in WB darkmode? That makes no sense at all to me.

C'était juste un hommage pour tout son travail de maître skinner qu'elle avait accomplie pendant de nombreuses années de son vivant et surtout ce n'était pas l'intention de remuer le couteau dans la plaie de son mari. J'en suis désolé...
Picco, n'en veux pas à M. Schiller. Comme l'a dit Doc, il en était plus qu'heureux et apprécie en fait de savoir qu'elle avait tant d'amis ici. Vous avez montré du respect, et il respecte cela. Je t'en prie. Cela m'a fait plaisir d'être quelque peu impliqué, quoique d'une petite manière.

Nostalgia "Mycolor" stardock themes converted for Winstep by myself, always a pleasure to display them on my desktop with xion player and rainmeter...

Some more work done on my v2 of the steam theme. This is more in line with the new colors/graphics valve has updated steam with recently. There will be a light mode as well for those who have issues with the dark blue text being hard to see on some applications due to hard coded white backgrounds in those apps. (Click for full preview)

Thanks for the white text version, SimplexDesigns. Much easier on my old eyes. The blue simply lacked adequate luminosity (for my eyes). Well done!
