Adding emotions - when you want to add an emotion just right click the emotion that you want to show and click 'properties'. Highlight the address (URL) and then right click and click 'copy'. Then click the little picture at the bottom of the Wincustomize message board emotions and a box will come up. Right click in this box and click copy. The address (URL) will then be in the box. Click OK and the link will show up in your message and when you click submit the emotion will show up in your post.
Creating skins.......Start with something simple like a logon screen. If you have Windows XP and have not got this programme which is a free prog from Stardock/WC go and get it here.

Use one of your pictures as the base wallpaper and follow the tutorial which has a link in the program to learn how to make your logon screen. Its a good starter

Hi Helen. Don't worry about the emotions - you will get the hang of it sooner or later.
Yes, i would like to visit the Greek Islands again next year but I am hoping to move to USA soon but this is very much in the lap of the gods at the moment and could go either way. I fancy a change of scenery but i guess if the job that i have been after for a long time does not come off then there is still plenty of the UK and Europe to explore.
I am still very much in the learning stage when it comes to "skinning" and i am trying to make a Windowblind and matching Iconpackager theme but i am a very fussy person. Skinstudio is a great piece of software but i quickly found out that if you want to make anything that is remotely top quality you have got to get some top graphics software as well. The only trouble is once you get the software you then have to learn to use it. I am self teaching myself how to use Adobe Photoshop which is enjoyable but not that easy. Plus there are always other things to distract me - 'El Galacticos' the boys from Real Madrid playing soccer on the TV
Right now i am just putting the finishing touches to a couple of massive Iconpackager theme updates for the iCandy Junior packages which i hope to get up in the next few days if my Iconpackager behaves itself which it is not doing at the moment. >
Anyway, before you try Skin Studio have a go at a Logon Screen first and why not use one of your terrific pieces of art work as the base wallpaper.
