one last thing, the government was warned months in advance that terrorists (Binny's boys in fact) had been meeting in a safe house in the Philippines and when the place was raided they found manuals and info on taking over Air Liners and flying them into buildings...
sheesh....

there was loads of information that was totally ignored...

for years....

My question is, when we really start a War on Terrorism are we going to the root of it and take out the leaders of Saudi Arabia? or will we still suckle the Oil swollen teat and fill the coffers of major Energy Conglomerates while they pad CEO retirement benefits and attempt to control the nations Energy Policies and Foreign Policies in the name of National Interests of course...

how nice to single me out.

No it isn't, and hence my comment...

With a bit of luck, now that Saddam has been got, efforts can be re-directed more towards Bin Laden and to similar positive end.

Neither should be left to exist as a rallying point to any dissident, fanatic or terrorist, no matter what race, colour, religion or political bent.

The best solution is to expunge them from social conscience and deny them their heritage.

Death by whatever means necessary and by whatever Legal process desired by those whose lives were/are affected most.

I worked for the 'International Security' department of a major airline for a little over two years (1989-92). We were trained by ICTS (an Israeli counter terrorist company). Even then, it was a well known fact that plans of hijacking planes and flying them in occupied buildings were being considered by terrorist groups (not Al queda).

BTW...the major airline stopped its internal security process shortly after the Gulf war, citing both economical reasons and lack of precedence (no 'terrorist' group had ever perpetrated an act within the US)......they lost 3 Jets on 9/11

Okay.

I just get really upset when I see people bash something I really believe in. It could be conservativism, Bush, GameCube, Stardock products, or anthing I really like. It just makes my bood boil.
