Triple Monitors
Thursday, April 27, 2023 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Start Menu Products
Not really getting answered on the other threads, so please.......
Is it yet possible to use Start11/WB11 on a triple monitor system.? Or maybe I should ask if more than 2 monitors are supported? Also, will they be supported in the future, if not now?
A simple yes or no would be awesome.

I used to have three monitors when sitting in the office (100 % homeoffice now) and cannot remember any issues at least with Start 11.
If You don't get an answer soon, I can however test it here on the weekend in my IT-Lab. What problems do You have in mind?

I believe it something like this one: https://forums.stardock.com/517565/get;3884016. Correct, Jim?

I'd like to use Stardock products on my rigs, but my 3 monitor system (main rig) has to go Stardock free due to this limitation. Triple monitors was never an issue in the past. I guess I'm done.

So, it's not supported now. I get that. Is it being worked toward being supported? If not, I'm done with all this.

I'm not bashing Stardock for this, it is a Microsux issue with Win 11. I only ask if there's a fix in the works, so I can not waste time waiting. Without Windowblinds 11 and Start 11, there is no reason to continue with ObjectDesktop for me.

Ok, so it's like that. I see.
If a simple yes/no answer is too hard, I guess fuck it.

Are you asking about a specific part or just in general?
The center align feature is still restricted to two monitors (as stated in the UI)
Other than that there are users who use more than two monitors

It is worth noting thats a feature that was only added to Start11 back in September as an experimental feature.
I am sorry it currently only works on 1 or 2 monitor setups for that one specific feature (centre the taskbar start button with the taskbar buttons whilst also using enhanced taskbar mode in S11 - you can centre just the buttons and leave start on the left just fine on 3 monitor setups) but thats the risk of experimental features, sometimes the feature has to change slightly.
I am unsure what this has to do with WB at all however and we had already given an answer on this. Asking again and again doesn't change the answer.

Did that warrant banning RND?
Do you ban everyone that gets frustrated with support?
Yes.
Stardock's sites [plural] are a work-place environment for Stardock Support staff and as such they need to be protected from abuse and personal attack.
This is no different to any other workplace environment.
We now have a mechanism in place to enable an automatic temporary ban to put a halt to such issues.
Needless to say, subsequent propagation by others is no help to anyone....

I have said this before, but I think it bears repeating here. "Stardock is a very conscientious software developer that provides some of the best customer support in the industry." If you don't think so, think back to the last time you had this kind of support for another product you use. That being said, I have a hard time understanding how some members of this forum find it necessary to verbally abuse the Stardock Support staff, at times using unacceptable language for an otherwise civil gathering of Stardock members and staff trying to help.
I understand that an issue with software can be very frustrating, especially when it affects your daily workflow. I have personally experienced this throughout my career, but taking it out on the ones trying to help is non-productive. Let's all try to remain calm and work with the support staff and other members trying to help solve software issues.
My thanks to everyone at Stardock for great products and great customer support!

Genuinely appreciate this comment. We try our hardest to provide the best support we can across our products but in the world of Windows, where there are a near-infinite number of hardware and software configurations, it can be challenging trying to solve every riddle that pops up.
Thank You!

Hello,
I can't answer that, obviously, however, I have forward your question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
