I can not recreate your issue on my Windows 11 system. Refer screenshot below applied Aero11_TG_Ruby on Acrylic 7 and here is what I get. What I think is causing the conflict is seem like you on OldNewExplorer.

It works on explorer fine. View the window via import in skin studio or any window that has a file open dialog. Make sure your system is in light mode when testing.

It can also be tested on 7 for 10 with the substyle set to "7 for 10 exclusive" Dont need to modify the theme since it gets triggered on that theme as well. Im 100% positive now its a bug in Windowblinds.

Look okay to me. Just remember need to set Light glass area 11 too.

I did, look at the video. When I set light area. It causes this.

Ps. this is a fresh windows 11 install, no explorer modifications installed. Latest wb/start11.

Here is the same issue on a fresh windows 10 VM. You can even see the topglass is defined in skin studio but if you look at the open dialog on notepad its not loading (its loading the toolbars background from rebar controls)

I am looking at your screenshot above and you have not set the "Light glass area 11" (red arrow)

Again, If I set it there, it does load but like I said above causes the blur behind it to mess up. It shows a bunch of garbage.

I though you said Windows 10 and Windows 11. I don't see the issue on Windows 11. But Windows 10 might be something else. However, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

The problem is on both Windows 10 & Windows 11. Any open/browse dialogs on either version of windows can be reproduced easily and on windows 10 file explorer specifically when you disable the ribbon UI via the setting in windowblinds.

You were able to reproduce the problem in the pm you replied to on your windows 11 machine. Look at the up arrow how it does not look rendered right, has a box around it.

My screen for comparison.

Just to reiterate. The top glass area does not load with certain transparent colors (seems to be darker ones) on both windows 10/11 systems and reverts to loading a toolbar background for it (7 for 10 exclusive does the same from the gallery). I implemented the topglass light area into the theme which does load on that area but with major graphical glitches to the acrylic blur background.

Here is an update on the issue. In the video I have just posted, I showed installing start11/Windowblind11/skinstudio11 on a freshly installed windows OS. No other applications actually installed. When I open the start menu and circle the reboot button I actually click it after I stop the recording and it just continues from there via video editing.

Steps to reproduce the issue on either windows 10/11 systems running latest windowblinds11/start11.

1. Apply a theme that has a glassy area on the topglass section.

2. Add the same image to the topglass light 11 section. (Google Drive Files)

The ones listed below doe not apply and will result in the glass area pulling the rebar texture unless you define them in the light 11 glassy area. All other ones do apply normally on topglass area but also wont work on Light glass area 11.

*Chocolate
*Ruby
*Slate
*Twilight
*Violet

3. Apply theme and look at the topglass in file explorer. It will now look bugged out

With Light Glass Area 11 BG applied 

Without Light Glass Area 11 Applied

Here is a second test I had done on another system using 2 versions of the theme. One with light area 11 skinned and one without it skinned.

basj, I can verify that the defects found by SimplexDesigns are reproducible on my system as well.

Windows 11 Core 22H2 (22621.ni_release.220506-1250)

WindowBlinds 11.01 (012 x64 - Windows 11 Edition) - 64 bit OS

Start11 1.4.05.

As I mentioned above this issue was forward to Support. I also mentioned internally, that I can reproduce the issue on my end. Nothing much I can do other than re-forward it again to them.
