Bing has become Annoying Lately

They add this overlay that I can't seem to get rid of...........advertising their new A.I. search........and can't scroll through or read though some of the news items on a ribbon that is hiding behind a blur fluent style overlay pushing their new search..............at least they should add a "x" where you can ditch the overlay, but you cannot. You are forced to deal with this......as if I really cared about their stupid new toy. Any thoughts? Suggestions? care or don't care.............? Feel free to disagree.

And what is a Bing?
In my mind's eye I see Joe Pesci and hear, "What's a grit?"
"Microsoft Bing, commonly referred to as Bing, is a web search engine owned and operated by Microsoft. The service traces its roots back to Microsoft's earlier search engines, including MSN Search, Windows Live Search, and Live Search. Bing offers a broad spectrum of search services, encompassing web, video, image, and map search products, all developed using ASP.NET." - Wikipedia

And in my mind I thought maybe it was going to be the next Windows after 11.

I use a browser that defaulted to bing search engine on install, so I tried using bing for a while.
I gave it a chance but I went back to google because I like it better.

I wouldn't mind too much using Bing if their search results were better than Google, but they're not. Sometimes even quite bad.

Well everything from Microsoft has been really annoying lately. It all started with Windows 11. Went downhill from there.

Annoying is the least of it. The privacy concerns are staggering:

The monetization of users is staggering. I fully understand those saying, "Enough!" and heading to Linux.
