erm, i cant have a folder as a shortcut how do i get round this and why does a error occur when i want to set my desktop background

y'zdock will work, but I won't tell you where to find it. Apple said it worked to much like their dock.
You should be able to put a folder on objectdock, but somewhere in the forums i remember seeing a way to put folders on the dock. It was quite complex.
Have you tried the newest objectdock?
