How is the ribbon bar disabled in some screenshots?

Monday, August 9, 2021 by djliamsaddress | Discussion: Curtains

Iv just been taking a look at Curtains, and some screenshots have the ribbon bar, (underneath the address bar) and some dont. Even if i download one that shows no ribbon bar, its still installed on my curtains....any ideas? Thanks

Many use OldNewExplorer to remove the ribbon and other changes to make explorer look simpler and more like Windows 7. You can get it here: Link

Right-click in the areas I've overlayed blue and see if you get the menu showing:

Yeh, iv just read OS after 1909 struggles with Oldnewexplorer, and wont use Ribbon Disabler at all. All works well with Windowblinds, Visual styles and Curtains on 1809, but my 20H2 OS wont change anything (getting rid of Ribbon) on any of the 3 programs

anyone else?

its not important for an answer, i was just curious

I'm on Win10 v21H1, without OldNewExplorer, and I get the right-click menu I showed while in Curtains.  Did you try the Right-Click?

Never had problems with OldNewExplorer. I'm currently on the latest official Windows 10 Home, build 21H1 (19043.1151)
