If you're talking about a Start Button animation like you were in your earlier post, this skin has an animated Start Button and you might download and look at it to see if it tells you anything;

https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/6928/

I've no idea what would make one go backwards.

Now the arrow being backwords like this i was trying something  since it was going backwords but when i am done animating i don't get but one frame about like this i streached this cause from what i understand you suppose to start out with a 64X34 frame or 90x34 but when i am done those measerments are what i get in skinstudio.

I don't believe there are really any size constraints (within reason) for a Start Button in WindowBlinds.  For example, in the skin I linked, she has a Start Button where each state/frame is 86x30. She has 14 states, so her total image size is 1204x30 (86x14=1204). You do need to make sure (the individual state width) x (the number of states) = (the total image size).  I've seen a lot of different sizes of Start button images.

Are you using that "Build high dpi image" button that's showing in your screenshot? I have no idea how that works, that might explain the enlarging of the image.

What I've always done, and what I think most people do, is create the image, save it to a png, then use one of SkinStudio's import functions to import it.  It comes into SkinStudio in the same size it was created.

Again, I encourage you to look at the Start Button in the skin I linked.

Are you intending to use this Start Button in WindowBlinds or Curtains?

https://www.wincustomize.com/article/361485/how-to-create-an-animated-start-button-alternative this is the link i found that i followed yes this was back in 2009 has no picture i tried to do it this way found out that he might had left out some parts in it cause mine started out by not moving.

Then when i got it moving it always went backwords then just resently i found out about in skinstudio in tools where it said studio start menu animation builder i got it to go forward one time, Where my problem lies is in photoshop doing the animation witch i think i am doing it right,  i have followed that link for the steps and putting it in skinstudio and video i saw for animating in photoshop  how to save it in photoshop then the steps to putting it into skinstudio what all i need to do to get this to go foward and not backwords. I am using that skin and looking at it in skinstudio then looking at his startbutton where his look like this and mine are always single like that picture i showed you yesterday mine never look like this piture.

I also want to say in photo shop i use animatin in the time line and not video, To make a long story short, what i need is do i use animation or video or does it matter, how you do this in photoshop that link i posted is throwing me off, how to save it do you render video or just save it.

2. after photoshop putting it in skinstudio what i was doing like that like said is going to frame builder saving it then going to animation putting in how many frame i used try it button then i see it go backwords.

Thats not working for me at all just i have been at this for 2 month now lol some where there is a step i am missing and i can'r find it.

It's been  a long time since I've done button animations (I just do animations for the Start Menu now), with that said, are you including the original images/States, such as Normal, Disabled, Mouse Over, and Focus/Default first, then followed by your animation frames? Those are the orders they (images) need to be in, or that's how I used to do it, before Windows 8.

Okay i probly am not that link is what was following till i figured out they left out a bunch of parts i am suppose to be doing for most people this is probably not hard to do but for me it difficult. I really don't think i am doing anything right in this and animating start menu would be nice to learn also. I am telling i appreciate everyone help in this i really do.

I took the Pressurized start button and split it into individual state files, and ran it through SKS's frame builder.  It generated a start button that ran right (not backwards) but changed it from 86x30 per state to 455x40 per state, adding transparency.  That's not a typo, it was 455 pixels wide per state for a total width of 6,370.  I don't know what it's doing.

I'm patient, but not a total masochist.  This is when I would stack the individual frames on top of each other in a single file, making sure to keep them aligned on top of each other.  Resize the canvas width to [Frame width] x [number of frames].  Link frames 2 through [Last], scoot them the width of a state, unlink frame 2, scoot remaining the width of a state, unlink frame 3, scoot remaining, etc. until done.

A couple of things that I did notice while playing with this - it seems to me that while on the animation tab you have to apply the skin twice before any changes on that tab are applied. Also, as far as I can tell the "Delay between animation loops" setting is ignored.  That might save you some trouble.

Are you talking in skinstudio or photoshop that you have to apply the skin twice see this is blowing my mind thats why i say a step by step process from photoshop to skinstudio would work for me because i not a vary bright person but a quick leaner. some picture would be nice as well if we get to where i can do this i'll buy one or 2 of your skins.

In SkinStudio, when making changes on the "Animation" tab.
