British Invasion!

Sunday, August 31, 2003 by Gemstone | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Good Morning! I am a stupid Brit!!
(Pip Pip - Tally Ho, Crumpits and wot not...)

I was wondering if there are going to be any plans for an option in the Edit Account section to change the order of the dates around:

eg. mm/dd/yyyy - dd/mm/yyyy

From the recent poll I can see there are lots of non-Americans out there and I dont know about others but for me those dates just get confusing

Morning chaps You'll have to put up with the illogical date format. You know the Merrycans - the rest of the world is always wrong...

Slurp...!

As for the date, it's like counting back to front - 2,1,3 instead of 1,2,3

I'm a Canadian. Kind of a cross between an American and a Brit. I like crumpets, but I prefer them with coffee, not tea.

P.S. I also like the following.....also with coffee.

Baked Beans
Bangers and Mash
Black Pudding
Yorkshire Pudding
Fish and Chips
Ploughman's Lunch.

Strange, the US Government uses MM-DD-YY and most non-gov. use DD-MM-YY. You really have to watch how they want it or you'll screw up the form. >

They should just reduce the date to a single number. My idea is, find a starting point, let's say for the sake of arguement the beginning of the Christian era, and we decide that that is day Zero (0), then just add one for each day since. By my calculations that would make today number 829,635.

So, when someone asks for the day the correct answer for today would be 829,635.
