Why I hate Windows 10

.....and what's the program that's not responding?
Windows 10.
It's gonna be due to a Windows Update.... and that 'feature' still doesn't work....forward or back.
Hard reset gets you going again...for about a minute or two....but eventually the only 'action' is the busy cursor going round and round.....
And har-fucking-har ...try Googling 'Windows 10 Freezes' and you'll get more hits than 'porn' or 'fluffy cat'....
At this stage I'm thinking....reformat and going to an OS THAT WORKS....aka....Windows 7 Ultimate 64 [what was on it originally].

try my luck with an old desktop that still has a wonky 10 on it....probably from the days when MS actually admitted it was a beta.....
Maybe I can get that updated too....

Updating from an early [alpha] 10 Pro 64 to a recent release [safe-haha] build 10 Pro 64....and...."this might take a while".
OK, so it's an experiment....afterall, it does exist as an install option....so you'd 'think' it was actually possible.....I mean....possible in an average person's lifetime.
Bugger....if I only had children....their children might see it finish.....

Woke up, got out of bed...
Dragged a comb across my head...
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup...
And looking up I noticed I was late...
Found my coat and grabbed my hat...
Made the bus in seconds flat..
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke...
Somebody spoke and I went into a dream...
It worked.
8 hours later.
An insitue update of 10 keeping proggies and docs and settings....
First time in 8 x 10 installs.
Paint me gob-smacked....

I thought that you had quit the smokes years ago.... or did you start up again because Win 10 has been frustrating and uncooperative?
In four days time I will have been off 'em for 15 years. Maybe Win 10 doesn't frustrate me as much as does you.

I started when I was 7 and trying to be like the older blokes ..... almost 60 years ago. Thing is, I did smoke heavily for a number of years, and that's why I had to quit .... my breathing wasn't good and I struggled to get stuff done.
So glad I'm off them.... both financially and health-wise.

All my systems use ASC of one level or another...3 are on 'Pro'. Had 2 issues with reg defrag several years ago...so I avoid it...
