Object Bar PC Magazine theme question

Monday, June 16, 2003 by TC01 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

For many months now I have been using the PC Magazine WindowsXP Object Bar theme because I was able to configure it to use whatever Windowblinds skin I happened to be using at the time and it sort of emulated XP on my win2k machine. It was clean and worked well.

Somehow I lost the clock in lower right corner. While attempting to retrieve the clock I lost several other parts of the theme. (not real well versed in how Object Bar works in the design stages, but I'm learning) Determining that I was going backwards, I attempted to locate this theme so I could download it again. The only version I have been able to find was on Pixtudio and it has some apparent conflicts with positioning of the some parts of the start menu. I have been attempting to get them positioned and sized correctly with very little luck.

Where might I find the good, working version of this Object Bar theme?

Thanks,
TC Harp

I asked this question at Stardock Support first and was told I should post the question here.

Oh. Sorry. I didn't know that. Can't the author of the theme help you?

TC01, it comes by default with Objectbar. I suggest you uninstall Objectbar and reinstall it.

Although, I've never seen it called "PC Magazine" before.

It is on Pixtudios site... here is a link to the original: http://www.pixtudio.com/download.php?id=591

By the way, I use the PC Mag stuff too. I like it.

Go to the theme editor panel and click on the link that says "revert to last saved version of the curren theme"....under theme tools. To get there...right click on a bar and click properties. Give that a try. May not work though if you have saved it multiple times. If that doesn't work...try opening up the theme browser and finding the them your using..then in the bottom left, there should be a mini drop down box that says styles....see if it has other options in there.

If all that doens't work...let me know and I can try to help you more.
