WB 10.7 BETA Problems

Black Screen with cursor only

Friday, August 17, 2018 by c242 | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Windows 10 Enterprise (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804)
WindowBlinds 10.7 BETA (050 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS

Window titlebar blur features are enabled on this operating system

Wblind.dll 2018/07/08 18:45:50
Wblind64.dll 2018/07/08 18:45:29
Wbsrv.dll 2017/03/28 15:53:46
WB10Config.exe 2018/07/08 00:31:18
Wbload.dll 2018/07/09 17:52:37
Screen10.exe 2017/03/28 15:53:17

Followed the instructions to exclude WB from Eset Hips word by word.

After the first restart from the Eset changes I could choose a style (Build-In 'Ice') and apply it. Worked a bit and then shut down.
This morning I started the Laptop and all I got was a black desktop with the cursor. Had to uninstall WB from another account.

System:

HP ZBook15u.G4
i7 7500U CPU - 2.7 GHz
32 GB RAM
512 GB + 2 TB SSD
Hybrid Intel (620)/AMD (AMD FirePro W4190M) graphics
LG Ultrawide Monitor 3440 x 1440, 225 %

On another note: I have lost Firefox title-bar buttons since the de-install (although I used the purge batches also)

As a test, if you exclude FF in WB, does it work?

Hello,

Try this. Firefox's 3 bar menu -> Customize -> (Bottom left) Tick check box "Title bar"

That should do it. No need to exclude FF from WB. FF work great with WB.

Thank you,
