Deskscapes and DisplayFusion
Found The Culprit.

Ok support guys. I have found a bug which causes DeskScapes to run for maybe 5 seconds, then crash.
I use DisplayFusion to easily span wallpapers, or use a different wall on each screen. Well, with DisplayFusion running, DeskScapes crashes. Kill DF, and DeskScapes runs fine.
Windows 10 1803.
I don't know if the problem is with DeskScapes, or with DisplayFusion.
I will alert the people who make DisplayFusion, BinaryFortress. I hope the devs here can help make the two work together?

OK Jim stay with me on this one ...
I Just got a New PC yesterday and did all the Win 10 updates and now running v1803.
Loaded Deskscapes and Dream maker , like you Dreskscapes worked but Not Dream Maker
windows saying not compatible ( it needs MS NetFrame 2.0 to work ) and left me hanging
and Dream maker not working ... So after clicking around I finally ended up with an option
to install MS Net Frame 3.5 - which includes NetFrame2.0 ... I downloaded it and ALL works
fine Now Deskscapes and Dream maker .
So I'm thinking You go to MS site and get a download for NetFrame 3.5 and load it and then
test to see if your DisplayFusion program works right again on 1803.
If it does Support would like to know it did so we can work it into future fixes.

NetFrame 3.5 installed on my Win10 v1803 , ummmm
if you did an upgrade to 1803 from a previous version of windows
maybe you already have 3.5
What you need is NetFrame2.0 which is included with 3.5
maybe you can get 2.0 and try to install .

I was asked by Keith Lammers at BinaryFortress if Deskscapes crashes, or if it's just the DisplayFusion wallpaper taking over.
With DisplayFusion running, set NOT to control the wallpaper, choosing a dream will lock up the Deskscapes config window. Just choosing one, not even trying to apply. Unload DF altogether, Deskscapes runs fine.

I know yo don't use Dream Maker but could you try to install it ( it's a FREE download )
and see if it will , then click to open Dream Maker ( that's where the problem happens )
and see if it opens or not .
if it does you can uninstall it if you don't want it ..
This is a test for v1803
Report back here with results it installed and works or didn't , why?

Mike, DreamMaker is already installed. It comes with Deskscapes. I opened it, it runs.
